Jason Campbell anyone?

Not only is Campbell an upgrade from Jake by being able to put some air under the ball, but check this ya'll........... HE CAN SCRAMBLE WHEN HE NEEDS TO AVOID THE DEFENSE!! WOW!! I wonder what it would be like to have a qb that can make a lil’ somethin' happen when the pocket collapses!!

I've always thought Campbell was gonna be a good one someday. I agree with some others, if it wasn't this year when they have so few picks, I would be fine with it. Let him sit a year and really get a chance to learn an offense which he hasn't had in the NFL. This is provided the FO does their due diligence and feels he's a fit.

I'd definitely take Campbell before I'd take Cutler.

For a second rounder? Any other year, probably; though I'd try to talk them down to a third.

With all that said, in a year when we have bigger needs than QB, no first round pick and only five picks overall, definitely no.

this is what i am thinking...the skins are complete idiots for doing this but..i think we could talk them down to a 3rd

It's funny, I was looking at the ExtremeSkins forum and at least 50% of the fans on there would rather keep Campbell in the name of continuity.

The skins fans get it, why can't the ownership get it? Snyder should have bought the Celtics or the Yankees, not an NFL franchise. LOL

I was talking to my boss yesterday about this. He is huge Redskins fan. His take is that Jason is very hesitant, like he thinks too much. Now maybe as many of you have said it's because he doesn't fit the system, but maybe it's not that and he doesn't fit the pro game... IDK

Finding our next starting QB is the greatest need we have right now. We can fill other positions through FA or lower draft picks, Jason Campbell is one hell of a 2nd round draft pick. The only Monkey here is you.

 Wow. You seriously think QB is our biggest need right now? You must not know much about football. I play football, and I understand the game in depth. I can tell you without any doubt in my mind that QB is not our first priority. We need help on the Dline, we have spots in the secondary to fill, and we need some more OL depth. Those, in my opinion, are our biggest needs. I'm pretty sure the coaches are qualified to do their jobs so I'm going to let them do whatever they want and I will trust them, but I'm sure they also realize QB isn't our biggest need.

I'm 37 and I played D2, I know a little something about football so feel free to stop condescending to me any time now....

Here's what I understand: Jake is old and has a surgically repaired arm. At the end of the day QB is the most important position on any team. If the Redskins are actually dumb enough to give up Campbell for a 2nd round pick I say we jump all over that.
