1. We have no impressive wins. Them having one gives them one more than we have.

2. We are exactly as bad as our record says. We show it every week.

3. Possible but I doubt it after the beating they took.

4. Look at the QBs we have lost to. No reason to think even a hurt Stafford can't beat us.

5. Our RBs are 34th and 36th in rushing attempts. Doesn't matter how good they are when they don't touch the ball.

None of those are a good reason why we will win as you claim.

Lee Sterling was saying this morning he thinks the Lions are going to lose. He's normally fairly accurate and picks against us a lot....as he probably should

Yes Stafford is hurt.

We can stop CJ and he was saying Cam will come out wanting to prove something after last week. Thinks he and Smitty will both have big games. They have a tough dirty D though.

I wont believe anything until I see it happen but any given Sunday. After that embarrassment of a game last week we better come out with something to prove.

Either way the Panthers will be on and I'll be happy.

2. They don't have a particularly dangerous kick/punt returner (as far as I know)

3. As the OP mentioned, they have poor run defense and we have the ability to run the ball when we want to.

I see a lot of personal fouls killing our chances. Especially moving us back on offense because of the way that defense plays. They are dirty and like to get in their opponents heads. I really hope Rivera has preached long and heard to the offense about just ignoring them. We cannot afford the personal fouls and dumb penalties if we expect to win.

I just can't see a win here. They probably have the best D-line rotation in the league (Dome + crowd noise makes them even better). Unless we establish the run I don't see us moving the ball on them. Plus Stafford is a much better player than he showed last week.

I just have one: The #1 reason the Panthers will beat the Lions is because they will have succeeded in having the more efficient offense at the end of the game when the clock hits 0:00 and there will be no coaching interference with that this time to prevent it from leading to a win.
