They know Legs isn't going to turn upfield and score a TD on them or even get significant YAC... he's the definition of a possession receiver (when he catches the ball).

If Olsen hadn't had such a bad day and Shockey was healthy, we could have made a game out of dink and dunk underneath throws, but it wasn't meant to be. Hartsock took many of the snaps Shockey would have had and he just wasn't able to get open. Combine that with going down by 14 in the first quarter and it was the perfect storm.

yeah, we are agreeing overall.. I'm strictly speaking towards Titans game plan to giving us everything underneath wasn't a genius plan by them, and we should have smacked them in the mouth all day..

I don't think that game plan would have changed should our TEs been more involved...

Olsen is ranked 56, and Shockey ranked 96. We have 4 players in top 100 for receiving yards. Not great, but yeah.

Just goes to show we have no deep threat besides Smith. Hopefully Gettis will be back and maybe we can grab a fast WR in the draft or FA.
