So I just got into an argument with my girlfriend because she asked me about a friend of hers, whose husband looks at porn sometimes to relieve himself.

She said that she saw it as a form of cheating, and I said that it was really only a way to relieve sexual needs if the other person wasn't in the mood and as long as it wasn't like interfering with their life and/or sex life. This pissed my girlfriend off.

She goes on to say that she thought "I was better than that", and she doesn't understand what guys need to do that stuff for, and that girls usually fantasize about the person they are with and guys should too. yada yada.

So this got me thinking how others might feel about it.... So what say you? Problem or no problem?

please let her know that she is single-handedly dragging down America with these ridiculous opinions..

This is usually a religious thing. If your woman is religious, she may think that you are basically committing adultery, cause they'll say something like "lust begins in the heart" or something like that. Apparently just looking at a woman and thinking any lustful thoughts is adultery. So it may be more of a mental thing like that, not sure.
