Foxy: "If we were trying to run a regular offense, he’d be screwed"

“We decided if Tim [The Golden Calf of Bristol] is going to be our guy, we can’t do that other crap,” told Jeff Darlington of NFL.com. “We had to tweak it.”

“Do whatever the hell it takes,” Fox said. “I mean, what the hell? You don’t get points for style in this league. Let me tell you something: My man is really good in this offense. You know what I mean?

“If we were trying to run a regular offense, he’d be screwed.”

“Hey, Tim thinks he deserves to have these plays in this offense. And you know what? After watching our games the last two weeks, it’s hard to argue with him,” Fox said.

It's profootballtalk. They just make things up and act like it's real quotes/stories.

Uh, those quotes came straight from Jeff Darlington (from NFL.com) who interviewed Fox from his office in Denver. I left out all of the PFT added commentary.

Eric Mangini made a good point on ESPN this morning (I'm as shocked as you are), Rex Ryan spent a good portion of his coaching career in college. He's seen most of the things that The Golden Calf of Bristol will be doing this Thursday night. Idk how much the short week will play into things, but I don't see The Golden Calf of Bristol having a good night (regardless).

At this point The Golden Calf of Bristol is little more than a gimmick. He can't pass. He has no field vision. He can't read defenses. They have played terrible teams. It's not a matter of if but when NFL defenses shut down the single wing.

I love how the article makes Fox look like some flexible offensive genius. Grain of salt with most of these writers/articles.
