Aaron Rodgers isn't fair

I don't think I've ever seen a quarterback playing at his level before.

Yes, that includes 2007 Brady and 2003(or was it 2004?) Manning.

The guy is just UNfugINGREAL!

72.9% completion, 2,869 yards, 9.7 YPA, 28TD / 3INT, 130.7 QB rating

The 9.7 YPA is by FAR the most impressive to me. To have a 72.9% completion is absurd enough, but to do it while throwing down field and not just dink and dunking(I'm looking at you, Matt Ryan).. fug. We could be watching the greatest season by a quarterback in the history of the NFL.

I have him on one of my five FF teams. The team has only won twice. :(

Sadly, he's not superman. Oddly, I have Cam on three of the teams and all three teams have seven wins thus far. :)

I am 7-3 with him on one of my fantasy teams. After Sun...I was behind by 27 points and between the 2 teams, there was only 1 player left to play. I had Rogers. He got 28 points and the win.

Brady in 2007 was actually better (these stats through 8 games):

Yards: Rodgers: 2,619; Brady, 2,431

Touchdowns: Brady, 30; Rodgers, 24

Interceptions: Brady, 2; Rodgers, 3;

Completion percentage: Brady, 75.2; Rodgers, 72.5

OB rating: Brady, 131.1; Rodgers, 129.7

Yards per completion: Brady, 11.51; Rodgers, 9.88

First I'll address Rodgers. The dude is on fire, but he did get to learn behind one of the best QB's of all time in Favre. A lot of his success stems from watching Favre do his thing. I mean when I sit down and watch him play, he plays just like Favre did. He's an extremely hard worker as well, and then the natural talent just puts people in awe. I'm not too sure what happened between him and Favre but it obviously wasn't good. It's a shame if you ask me.

Now in to GB's defense, or lack there of...

Anybody else think it's sad that WE have been the closest to beating them when we still had a pretty much injury free defense?? If they go on to be undefeated I'll literally throw up!

    • I fell asleep on it last night, but UNC lost to Wake?
    • As we look at these prospects, I can never quite grasp which “edge” projects as a 4-3 end and which projects as a 3-4 olb. Is there even a distinction anymore? I always think of the smaller Von Millers and Micah Parsons as the 3-4 OLB types and I’m thinking someone like Peppers as the 4-3 end but then I guess Peppers played OLB in GB.  It also seems like the OLBs end up walking up to the line half of the time.  Anyone have any tips on discerning the difference, especially in Evero’s defense?
