You think the defense is McDermott's fault? Man, what coordinator could get results down a true starter at NT (Ron Edwards), a Pro-Bowl MLB (Jon Beason), one of the best weak-side LB's (Thomas Davis-when healthy), and a true #2 DB...

Rivera is apart of the defensive game-plan too, he said he would be very much involved defensively during the off-season. Give me a season where we are missing valuable starters and we're still bad, then I may be on the bandwagon to see McDermott gone...

yep, Rivera was very clear that this would be HIS defense......

He just has nothing to work with really. A piece here and one there....just ain't enough. He doesn't need allstars.....he just has too many guys on the field that have no business being there.
