ZOMG Cam had a bad game...FIRE EVERYONE

HA Got Ya! You all thought this thread would be sarcastic...

I know this is a long post, but it's a quick read because I've spread it out.

...But seriously fire Marty. This "new regime" should've come with an ACTUAL new regime. If a coach gets fired after not having back to back winning seasons, what makes Jerry think that the GM had nothing to do with it?

I took a second to step back to think about the way that a Super Bowl team is built. The key phrase, in my opinion (and correct me if I'm wrong), in building a winner in this day and age is HAPPY MEDIUM.

There must be a happy medium between both building a team core in the draft, and filling the rest of the team through free agency. Hell, look at the NFC South. How have Atlanta and New Orleans built very consistent football teams?

1. Atlanta: Draft Matt Ryan, Draft Roddy White, SIGN Michael Turner, SIGN Tony Gonzalez, Draft Jonathan Babineaux, Draft Curtis Lofton (WHO HAS 85 F**KING TACKLES IN 9 GAMES), Draft a consistent secondary, SIGN Ray Edwards, SIGN John Abraham.

2. New Orleans: Took a different route, but has still drafted its core in guys like the offensive line, the receiving core, the running backs, but SIGNED a superstar in Drew Brees, SIGNED a playmaker in Darren Sproles, etc.

Then if you look at Tampa Bay, those guys are headed NOWHERE because they haven't BUILT around the core, they've used the same BULLSH*T excuse that we have: "We're waiting on our youngsters to develop." You know how youngsters develop: SURROUND THEM WITH TALENT, PUT THEM ON THE FIELD, AND LET THEM BUILD CONFIDENCE BY WINNING GAMES.

Who are the teams that stay mediocre? The ones who maintain the status quo. The only team I can say that are Super Bowl contenders that have maintained the status quo of draft, draft, draft, draft is the Packers, and they have been very consistent in the draft, something we haven't been.

Bottom Line: I HATE to use our division as an example because it just straight up hurts to use rivals as examples of those better than us, but we will not be successful unless we are just as assertive as the rest of the league. Marty, you're a pussy, you are a yes man, and you have not taken enough knowlegeable risks for this football team.

For every Cam Newton, there is a Jimmy Clausen. For every David Gettis, there is an Everette Brown. For every James Anderson, there is a Dwayne Jarrett. Need I continue?

In the words of Bon Qui Qui: THIS DUDE NEEDS TO GO.
