Morning Radio Shows...

I listen to the radio pretty infrequently... the commercials are so annoying.

I keep my radio on 103.7 here in Wilmington when I do listen, classic rock, and they have a couple of local guys, Brian and Jim who have been on the air for like 15 years. I enjoy their show and I have hung out with them, playing golf, etc. for a while and they are pretty cool...

The best morning show was when John Hancock was on 106.5 The Edge in Charlotte.

He's older and a veteran of talk radio. No funny bits, no laugh track, just entertaining without being silly or stupid.

Unfortunately most people want silly and stupid so it was short lived until they brought in Bob & Tom.

I listen to Mike and Mike on 630 AM on the way to work, and then Mac and Jim on 610 AM out of Charlotte on my droid once I get to my desk.

I too gave up satellite radio when I got a droid. At the very least you can use your browser to stream from sites if they aren't on your apps.

Which app do you use on your droid for this?

the skyfire browser. it is multi-tab and allows the player to pop up. I then tap on it to enable the flash, and it starts listening. It isn't perfect streaming, but it is good enough that I do it everyday. I go to the tuneIn website, but I'm sure you could do the same thing off of WFNZs site. TuneIns just came up in the search first.

edit: the actual TuneIn app had the station for a while but all of a sudden they didn't one day.
