Then walk to the door and put your hand on the door knob. So you can politely open it for them, but it also serves to get the point across.

Almost everyone here is nicer than me. I have about a 30 minute window of patience where I go from thinking "I think things are winding down, time for everyone to go home" to "get out or die."

I think people I invite over understand that. Anytime I invite people over, they invite me over to their place instead. Could be that, and that my wife and I are sort of neat freaks. yeah, I'm sure we're horrible hosts. :D

"I'm hungry as hell and I'm about to go get some dinner/lunch"

"I've got a lot of work to get done today"

"I'm tired, bed time"

"I've got a meeting at ____ and I need to leave, like, now"
