About the Cam pick...

You can't say acting like your Superman isn't trying to draw attention to yourself and loving the spotlight. That is the whole reason they celebrate after all.

And how in the hell does the media dictate the success or failure of a QB?

I personally don't see it any different than Aaron and his wrestling belt move. It's called celebrating. Isn't Cam allowed to do it?

U haven't been paying attention to all the Andrew Luck hype have u? The kid isn't playing much different or better than the other college QBs but u'd think he was ready to take every NFL team to the Promise Land his rookie season the way the media is hyping him. That is what u call dictating.

He's not a bad pick yet. He's a rookie QB. Most people just didn't want to face the numbers earlier. But this is not a surprise for me. Cam has been playing like a rookie.

Everybody's going off of hype not facts. Well we took on the Super Bowl Champs....the Super Bowl champs have the 30th worse ranked defense in the league. When we played them they were supposed to be the best. So does Arizona. So we were supposed to put up that many yards on them. Most teams do. It didn't become clear until later in the season where the teams we faced stood. Titans had a balanced team and a decent D. Atlanta is too. Saints.

The rest of those defenses we faced?

Arizona: 27th

GB: 30th

Saints: 19th

Minnesota: 23rd

Chicago: 25th

Tennessee: 15th

Atlanta: 14th

Washington:12th

Jaguars:5th

So really most of the teams we played against had poo defenses. It's not surprising that we got a lot of yards and points on them. But we beat the 2 best defenses we played. They have the most inefficient offenses we faced: Washington (30th) Jaguars(26th).

Their defenses did bring our points per game down. It brought our yards number down. But the reason we beat them...is because their offenses are even more inefficient than ours. They did worse against our defense, than our offense did against theirs.

-We struggled most against balanced teams with average defenses.

-We have a below average defense..we dropped to 20th today.

-And are now ranked 25th in scoring efficiency.

We're about to face the following defenses:

#7

#1

#14

#19

#29

#31(twice).

Detroit and Houston also have very efficient offenses. We have yet to play a GOOD all around team this year. These two will be the first. Saints have a far more efficient offense than us. Atlanta is still balanced. Tampa and Indy we can hang with. We have the better defense. And more efficient offense.

But when we play the Texans and Lions....it's going to be very ugly for us and for our offense.

Texans # 5 offense and # 1 defense

Lions # 4 offense #7 defense

So whatever your opinion might be of us against the Titans today....brace yourselves. And on top of scoring inefficiency we have the worst sack rating, penalties and interceptions in the league.

I would put my money on the Panther's offense 7 out 10 times to play well on any given Sunday. But, U seem to hit the nail on the head without realizing it. This Panther team lacks balance. They rely way to much on their offense and the talents of it's rookie QB to get the job done week in and out while the rest of the team lag behind. That is too much to ask of ur rookie QB week in and out. Use the kid's talents, don't abuse it.

Say what u want, but when it all boils down, it's either a balanced team or a team with a very good defense that makes it to the SB. I don't ever recall a team with a decent offense and a weak defense making it to the SB but maybe u may have stats on that.

I never said it was different. I just said you can't say acting like Superman isn't wanting the spotlight. Rodgers and his belt is also wanting the spotlight.

Success or failure of a QB is based on what they do on the field. The media hyping Luck has no effect on his success at all.

Isn't it funny how those who never wanted this team to draft Cam always seem to come out of the woodworks as soon as him and the offense have a bad day. And as usual, they come to defend their argument armed with stats... We don't dislike him but.....

Dude says the same thing whether the offense has a good day or not. Please stop grouping everyone in the same category.

To be fair he was shitting on Cam when he had awesome games as well.

Cam has had a nice start but I agree that it's too early to judge him as a QB yet. Daunte Culpepper went from hero to zero really fast and look at how bad Josh Freeman has been this year. Then Derek Anderson had a star-like year once and ended up being a nobody while Matt Moore initially shined then retracted and lately is playing well again.

We can say Cam has had a very impressive start but let's wait and see how things go in the future. Don't forget he was the #1 overall pick. I expect great things.

Honestly, I really see the whole trying to find something about Cam to turn into a source for debate is so useless. Unless ur work for the sports media and need to collect a paycheck. How is Cam liking or not liking the spotlight fixing the real issues of this team.

They changed throughout the day man. I know we are one of the worst ranked. I keep most of this in my head. There's only so much a man can do. You can all start pitching in any time. But don't ignore everything else I just said because of that one point.

Our efficiency was ranked 29th 2 hours ago. Not everybody finished updating. Now we are 25th. It will change slightly again tomorrow.

PS: You could at least post the updated rank when you do that: Tied for 25th with 10 now.

Your rite. That boy cam skin aint pale enuff.

I never said it would fix anything nor did I say it was a problem. You said that wasn't him wanting the spotlight, I disagreed. It is that simple. Besides, nothing we say here is doing anything to fix the real issues of the team anyway.

Sylvianlight in your own words before the draft you expected a "bust" and claimed drafting Cam "would be the biggest mistake this franchise could make". How does that constitute expecting greatness? Lol

I don't remember saying all that but my main point is as the #1 overall pick there is a lot of pressure to perform. I wouldn't crown him just yet unless losing seasons and poor late game performances are the standards for #1 overall QBs.
