Peter King list Carolina among teams that may be interested in Cutler

Cmon now Crolls knows more than we do about how the front office works. He knows that when we were working with Gross we leaked info every day. Right?? Everyone knows that Hurney is known for talking about things and doing his negotiating in the newspaper and through sound bites. In fact when he decided to franchise Peppers we all heard it about days ahead of the deadline. Right?? When we began to negotiate with Jake it was Hurney who broke the news. Right???

And Crolls knows that We can't get anything for Peppers and are wasting our time trying to get more than a 2nd pick for him. How does he know, Maybe Hurney leaked it to the press and started a rumor all while denying it because he can't be negotiating.

Sarcasm off.

What other tidbits did I miss Crolls. Xclown and I are apparently out of the loop. We are naive enough to believe what people post about Hurney and Fox being very closed lipped and not discussing negotiations until they are concluded. But since you believe that Hurney is out there spreading rumors or will be as soon as he can, what have you heard????

He isnt saying anything in the press because he can't. peppers won't let him. If he could he would make an announcement of sorts that he is accepting any and all offers at this point but like I said, he can't do that.

Now I appreciate the credit but this theory does not take inside information 55. All it takes is common sense.

No wonder you struggled.

Don't blame the analysts for saying we could be interested, because we SHOULD be interested. I know it's unlikely b/c of Hurney/Fox loyalty to Jake, but it would be a perfect fit IMO.

:iagree:: If Cutler goes to Tampa that will be a disaster for us, not to mention we will have the worst QB in the divison

Everywhere I've seen It says we would need to include peppers, a pick (probably a first), plus another player.

Mortenson, Nfl.com, yas all said it would take the above to get it done. Then there is Gnatt's take on the matter again.

We said it last week, and we'll say it again tonight.

Jay Cutler's talented. Jay Cutler's not a fit here. He'll go somewhere, to a team willing to give up lots of draft picks. The Panthers are moving the other direction, trying to hoard more. That alone would make the Panthers making a play for him dubious, completely ignoring the diva act of the last month.

And can you really ignore that?

You may now return to your regularly scheduled kvetching

Pretty much squashes it, saying that the Panther's aren't going to be giving up draft picks as they are trying to acquire more picks.

Diva , whiner , crybaby blah blah blah

A majority of the nfl fans have sided with Cutler on this. Check the poll on nfl.com

The new head coach should have been fired for this mess, I am so tired of all this crap about Cutler being a whiner. Its a bogus smoke screen, trying to put him in the T.O.-Cinco crowd. He is far from that.

Cutler just isn't worth the price they want for him. Two firsts and a starting quarterback to boot. If this were Peyton Manning maybe so but a guy who has never been in the playoffs, be serious. Who out there in the NFL outside of Brady and P Manning would command that price? Anyone seriously think that Cutler is in the same league with Brady and Manning. Be serious. Who ever gets him for those picks will be remembered like they remember Minnesota when they picked up Hershel walker for a bunch of picks. Took them years to recover.

Instead of talking about how great Cutler is, what no one seems to consider is why is Denver so willing to get rid of him. They are eyeing 2 first rounders and a starting quarterback and laughing at whoever would take that sucker deal.

There are the top 3 :

Manning, Brady, and Brees

Cutler is on par with Rivers, Mcnabb.

Peppers/Delhomme and and pick-sold! Just not 1st rd picks

That's what It's going to take, because of Gm's and Former GM's running there mouth off a few weeks ago about what Cutler is worth.
