Dragons are pretty weak, the priests are a decent battle. I wish there were better shouts. I have like 10 souls and so many options but they all suck. I like slowing time, invincibility and fire breath and that is about it. The rest are completely useless to me. I hope I find some good ones soon. Maybe some 'floating' (like you could do in the older ES, with high jump) or disappearing ones.

I find Whirlwind sprint and level 3 unrelenting force useful especially when you use a bow and enemys run up on you and you need time to pull out your weapon.

Well, time for a new patch, quicklike... My game now freezes almost everytime I save it. WTF was Bethesda thinking when they released this game. I think they released this game before they even played it through to find out how bad the glitches would be.

I know that 11/11/11 was epic and all that, but I would have preferred that they waited an extra month or two to work on the bugs before release. My PS3 has never froze up before until this game. It reminds me of the old school Nintendo days when you would have to blow on the cartridge, and then slap it around a little bit as I cuss at the top of my lungs! haha.

they weren't gonna fix that poo no matter how long they took to release it

why pay beta testers when you have a world full of chumps ready to do it, not just for free, but pay 60$ to do it

Bingo.

and for the record this has been the best bug free massive sandbox rpg to date I think Fallout 3 came close but was probably about equal. Of course this is VERY highly subjective to the user experience but I have played many many hours of these kinds of game since I was a kid, which I was playing games like ps1 xenogears, chrono cross, ff7, skies of arcadia for the gamecube etc.

Oblivion was fuging horrible the very first day. You think these are long load times baha. Oblivion was so bad they had to fix it, I am not joking when I say 10 fuging minutes. Try opening the wrong door youre fuged. Fallout new vegas completely erased my game. Morrowing one was on the xbox and never got a patch so that game was a landmine of fuging cracks to get stuck in and be fuged. No learned hopelessness either, you try to get out of it forever, prolly 3x the time if I were just trying to reload.

But really, when I think back to all my favorite games and notice how my saves are saving and I only get stuck every once in a while and way points actually working, this game, for its size was ready to be released. All these small bugsd were are finding could have took their hired team of , months if not another year, for tens of thousands of dollars and less efficiant. I'd rather have the game now with it patched before Christmas than have it a year from now patched.

Releasing it to the world, billions of people, is quite possibly the best size testers anyone could come up with. The key is getting out those patches ASAP and staying on top of the issues...unlike COD2 when it was first released I don't even want to go there....elder scrolls is such a great, massive game that bugs should really be expected. Other games don't have as many bugs becasue they suck and have no content.

i found fallout 3 to be buggy as f*ck. probably had something to do with how far they pushed the engine too.

Yea now that I think back to that I don't think I played that on release so I might be off.

Playing on release is important if you are comparing bugs because that is the game in it's most raw form and the from publishers deem 'ready'.

i'm not talking about release... i didn't play it till about 8 months later. buggy as f*ck. thought to be fair i was playing it on a ps3... from what i understand i might as well have tried playing it on a lawnmower.

i was playing it on a ps3...

There is your problem. Bethesda hates Sony. I don't even know if they released a patch or down loadable content for the ps3. The basically told ps3 to screw themselves.

Now I have never owned a ps3 so I really don't know and can't talk from experience.

they patched it a couple of times and the dlc did come out but even the GOTY addition was buggy as f*ck.

hell, the oblivion GOTY still had a number of gamebreakers in it.

meh, it's ok either way. i'm about 20 hours into new vegas and i haven't encountered anything too bad, couple of clipping issues and an ion cannon bug...

as an aside, red dead redemption's locked up on me a few times.

    • Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
