That's weird, when you try to upgrade it does it show any other materials needed? I would probably save and restart the game. Then see if it allows you to do so then.

That wont work. Its a recurring problem with that artifact since I have searched it and seems that others have the same problem. And to natty i was able to upgrade it to flawless but not legendary.

Am I the only one who dual casts? I never use weapons..Pure Destro Mage. FTW

I like using a blade in one hand, destruction spell in the other. Not a fan of pure magic in close combat, and not a fan of duel wielding weapons either because it's too much trouble to heal myself, etc.

If you get the perk that staggers on dual-cast destruction, there is no more close combat. I never carry weapons, I'll conjure one every one in a while if I need a soul.

Finished it along with the thieves and compainons quests minus the one where you have to get the 24 stones of barenziah.

become a werewolf and than you wont have to worry about becoming a vampire :)
