And yet, for all of those yards, he was unable to do the MOST differentiating thing- take it to the house like Devin. That you want to throw silly yardage stats at me when the contention is based around return TDs shows you know and I know that there is no one that compares to him. And that is really what makes him HOF worthy. I don't know why you're so adamantly against that.

Yes. So, Hester has a superior yardage per return on punts (where yardage is much harder to come by than kickoffs) and fewer yards per return on kickoffs over the same time yet a HUGE difference in returned TDs than Cribbs. I see your point. Yeah. How much of a WR has Cibbs been in comparison?

Best punt returner of all-time, yes. Not yet for kickoff returner. Gale Sayers or Mel Gray could hold that title. Not sure if Hester would make the HOF at this point. Mel, Billy Johnson, Eric Metcalf, Brian Mitchell and other great returners aren't in there. I think if Hester gets better at kickoff returning so that he is #1 in both returning categories then he could have a real good shot.
