When does the blame start landing on Rivera

Don't get me wrong, I see Rivera's mistakes and struggles just as clearly as the rest of us on this forum, but at times today I felt like there was only so much the man could do.

-The punt return broke our backs early, Rivera wasn't streaking down the field trying to make a tackle. In fact, it seemed none of our special team's players were trying to make the tackle.

-The Olsen fumble, put a halt on all offensive production for the rest of the day. That can't be on Ron.

-The 40 something yard TD reception by D. Williams just put the final nail in the coffin early. The tackling was horrific and Sherrod Martin took a terrible angle on the play.

Maybe I'm just crazy or blind, but I just don't see how these three daggers can be put solely on Ron. Sure the team was flat and showed no desire, but maybe that was a product of the return touchdown and turnover in the redzone more so than our head coach failing to prepare the team during the bye week.

i want to see what he can do with a full off-season and draft under his belt. after that i'll start freaking out.

agree, that's a reasonable time frame

If we come out next year looking the same...it could be messy

I'm not talking playoffs but more than freaking two wins by this point

Fire Rivera!

It's not time to fire Rivera, he just doesn't look the part right now.

Like PhillyB said, we should see what this team looks like after a full year and another draft under our belts.

If we get our guys back from injury and we still look like this....fug that

And a fully healthy team...oh n/m we are the Panthers...

I definitely blame him for the loss today, not that we lost but that we looked bad doing it.

The moment that really got me was when Charles Johnson, a veteran and star DE on this team, had a nasty personal foul for shoving his hands in the face of a Titans player. Rivera calmly ushered him aside on the sideline and said something to him. That's a situation where the coach should be livid. These penalties are from a lack of discipline and Rivera doesn't seem to be delivering.

The only fault Rivera had was starting a rookie QB. How much of a choice he had remains to be seen.

He had to choose between Cam and Clausen and our vet is Derek.

The terrible, the bad, and the rookie. Set up for failure. This is why Fox didn't like Marty anymore.

It's for a good cause though. Instead of paying rookies #1 draft picks 53 million dollars we only pay them 22 or so. But Panther fans get to pay to set that example. With ticket price hikes and bad offenses.
