Oh geez teh onez gamez. I guess teh Patriots should get rid of Brady because of his poor teh perfmancez. :rolleyes:

You should shoot yourself for comparing Newton to Tom Brady. Don't ever mention Cam Newton in the same sentence with Tom Brady again.;) Not until Cam has a winning record.

Tom Brady's a winning 7th round draft pick with 3 Super Bowl rings. When Cam Newton has a winning record you can start doing that.

Don't even mention Cam Newton in the same sentence with Jake Delhomme either.

He's still got more comeback wins than Brady even though he's played less and has been practically retired for 2 years.

You guys are still riding the denial wave and have no idea what made us a good team before.

He had a bad game so what? He was drafted to the leagues worst team last year for a reason. And if you think the reason Cam is the reason we're the most penalized team then I officially deem you a troll.

It's not one game man. He's blown in the 4th quarter in 6 of 7. We actually faced a decent D today. Wait till we face the Lions or Texans. We can only beat the worst offenses in the league, Jaguars and Washington, because we are ranked 21st worst in scoring efficiency and we turn over the ball on top of that.

And yes I know he is.

It ain't the defense I promise you that. Tennessee is ranked 28th in sacks.

Our O line is ranked 12th in the league in pass protection overall for the year.

We keep falling every week. After today we fell too....17th. Still not bad. Still average.

What does that tell you? But we are now last in sacks and first in holding penalties. Is it that hard for some to figure out that when a QB takes too long to throw, his men are going to try and "hold off" the defending player trying to get to him and get more penalties?

There is no other explanation why the 12th ranked O line in pass protections faces the 28th worse defense in the league in sacks and Cam Newton gets sacked 5 times.

what I saw today, and even what the commentators addressed, wasn't a problem with Cam holding onto the ball too long more so than our offense as a whole did not execute..

Pressure got there pretty quick, he wasn't sitting in the pocket for 5 or 7 seconds untouched.. they even went back to show a replay to address that..

Actually, including 3 penalties on us that were declined because the Titans' resulting play was better, and one offsetting penalty, we had 16 today.

Read that that again please. 16.

You have to try to get 16 penalties. It is really the only phase of our game in which we are really, really competent.
