If we are picking in the top 3 there is currently no player on defense that warrants that pick. Claiborne is currently projected top ten. This CB draft class has ton of talent.

Its very early in the draft process, but the top 10 is shaping up to be offense heavy.

By what "projections" are you using? Scouts Inc. has Claiborne ranked as a 96 overall, which is tied for third behind Luck and Kalil.

To put that in perspective, he's projected with the same overall as Trent Richardson. And only one point behind Patrick Peterson was last year.

I'm not saying he isn't a great player. History shows that cornerbacks get no respect on draft day. I think the highest a cornerback has ever been selected was 4th. Player rankings doesn't necessarily translates to the draft order.

To put that in perspective PP7 was rated higher than Claiborne and still only went 5th.

Idk, Stl, Az, Miami, Minn, Sea, Cle, and Jax all need to win a few more games if we want to pick second. We have the hardest schedule in the league and the tiebreaker goes to the team with the easier schedule. Indy is the biggest game left for us in the season now. Could be the difference between picking 2nd and picking 8th

After today's game I am leaning towards CB.

Captain is so bad in coverage. He is a great ST player and physical but when it comes to covering WRs, a CBs main job, he isn't up to par.
