So who do you want with our 3rd overall pick?

Cam Newton - 10 interceptions

Andy Dalton - 9 interceptions

He sure seems to be turning the ball over at a high rate for a "game manager".

Or is it that our "high risk" QB is only turning the ball over at the rate of a "game manager"?

Whats the point? He is our qb and we are not trading him

The point is that realtriumph (i.e. PFFL) says that Dalton is a FANTASTIC quarterback because he is a game manager and the we are being held back by the poor play of our QB because he turns the ball over too much.

My point in response is that the Bengal's fantastic "game manager" is turning the ball over at a HIGHER rate than Newton because he's got only one less interception but many, many less pass attempts.

When he gets his passing to 65% consistently and to other guys not named Smith, he can rush as much as he wants.

Why stop on 65% ? Cam is a bust if he is not at 100%

Fug There are only four QBs this season with 65% or above. Oh and BTW your Ginger game manager is under 65% and only 0.1 % higher than Cam.

I have been wondering, how is Cam in the 4 Q?? :lurk5:

I see your point but not his. Cam is having a very good rookie season as is Dalton but I would rather have Cam.

Oh i am so behind. I didn't know that was his new handle. I thought we had added a new idiot to the huddle thanks. Sorry for feeding the troll.

I think with a healthy Beason, and Anderson we can plug in a guy if Davis doesn't work out. When it comes to receiver, I think we have to pass because we need to see what Gettis can do for us. Combine Gettis' return with our stock of TE's and LaFell (I see Naanee cut if Gettis returns at 100 %, or Armanti instead) and we have the receiving options we need to compliment Smith. I don't want to bank on the health of Otah, and Bell has shown flashes but not consistency, but overall the O-Line has played well. Which for me leaves the defensive secondary, and defensive tackle.

I personally think we need a run stuffer (but Edwards is returning, so he may be the ansewer), then you have our potential need at FS, but overall I think Martin has played well and is young. SO with all that being said, I think we got BPA, lol!

matt kalil.

otah is spineless garbage and bell is showing why he was a udfa.

we may have weak spots elsewhere, but we have NO HOPE of winning games unless we can get newton more protection. if we are going to be asking him to carry the team on his back, then we need to make sure we give him some time and space to get the job done.

one of those shiny new WRs would be nice, but it would be a luxury. they would do us no good unless we got cam more protection.

it's a shame that we have such a heartless starting RT in otah when the guy is as talented as he is that forces us to have to draft an RT again, but thats the way it is.

if kalil is available, we have to draft him. then we build from there.
