I thought my argument has always been about winning? Thats no saying Dalton or anyone else would win every game of the season.

So why give props to Dalton for playing bad in a loss? Why bash Newton for playing great in a loss? You are biased. You aren't a Panther fan.

I think Cam has been great, better than Dalton. But how can you possibly claim that its dumb to say that Dalton has been better? An objective person could easily make the argument for either one of them. I think Cam has been overall better because of his scrambling and his ability to throw the deep ball. But, it could easily be argued that Dalton has been better because he has more wins, a better completion percentage, and a better td to interception ratio.

If you look at the NFL as a whole, the entire league was putting up numbers in the first 4-5 games that had never been seen before, and Newton was among them. There were a lot of 400 yard plus games in the first few weeks. But his numbers have fallen off a bit in the last several games, again following the same pattern as the rest of the league. He is still very good, and I would rather have him than Dalton.

But the post I quoted used the term objective, and I think an objective person could make a solid argument for either one of them. Especially if one pays less attention to yards, and more attention to things like TD/Int ratio.

Fwiw the main point was that its ridiculous to accuse a poster of being a racist because he prefers Dalton over Newton.
