Yeah, the Mare for Kasay thing is absolutely impossible to defend.

What I don't get is with Rule Change, Kasay or Baker one should be able to get the Kickoffs into endzone.

I don't really blame Mare for this specific miss. Its a 49 yarder and thats 50/50 with just about any kicker.

But so far, Mare hasn't been worth what we are paying him. As the announcer said, he has missed more than any other kicker, and a couple of those misses have been critical. He also has a missed extra point.

Very stupid decision. As a fan I hated it emotionally & Mare's play shows how wrong Hurney was from a skills end of things too.

We do have to remember how horrid our ST coach is tho too. Still don't like Mare, but the ST coach may be screwing that up too, like everything else.

Ok, so...Olsen and Cam aren't playing well, but they are good players. I'm more worried about the guys that aren't good, namely the back 7 on D, everyone on special teams.

If you think Cam isn't playing well, you're a moron. A couple missed throws. Sure, probably shouldn't have been misses, but still, not a huge deal. Dropped passes and a fumble are killing us.

Cam seriously is the ONLY thing we have going on offense outside of Stewart's early runs. If we're going to run, we need to run out of the shotgun to spread the defense out like we did when Stew had those running lanes. Running under center hasn't worked all year.

Truthfully, having two kickers is dumb, so it's understandable that they'd have let Kasay go. If they'd have kept him, there's no telling how many kickoff returns the Panthers would have given up so far this season, even with him kicking off from the 35.

Still didn't need to pay Mare $4 mil a year, though.

I'll probably be completely hated for this...but if we don't come out of the half pumped up or playing with fire, I'm officially to the point of questioning Rivera's capabilities as a HC. I've been wary already this season and the lack of discipline and defensive fire is absolutely atrocious
