Breaking News: Denver plans to deal QB Cutler

If we actually did trade for Cutler all the Jake supporters would probably line up single-file and jump off of a cliff like the cows in South Park did when the farmers tried and take the statue of their god from them.

Or what Stan said to Cutler when they met .... "My dad says you suck, but you might be good someday"

I am one of the few that wants a new starting QB but doesn't want Cutler. Sorry guys, I just don't see Cutler as a good fit for this team. I compare him to being the TO of QBs. He wants to throw the ball and throw it often and gets upset when he is told not to throw it. Anyone that wants Cutler on the Panthers might as well include DeAngelo Williams in the trade as well because with Cutler at QB there would be no use in having Williams.

I can not argue that Delhomme is a better QB because I don't think he is. But Delhomme is a better fit for this team than Cutler and just as others have said that chemistry is important.

Also, you can not ignore the medical issues with Cutler. Even though he is only 25 I think he will not have the longivity that other QBs have. He may be lucky to play past 30 as diabets even when medicated and under control places a lot of strain on the body. In reality any team that picks up Cutler is really getting a 30 year old QB not the young 25 year old pro-bowler.

Why do all of the idiots here want a QB that has a 17-20 record....can't get his team to the playoffs (in the AFC West for Christ's sake)....and does nothing but bitch and whine?

Can you tell me what Jake's record was in his first three seasons in the league with the Saints? And how many playoffs he made?

And look at him now. He's defended as if his last name were Christ instead of Delhomme by a ton of people.

Why do people keep saying that Cutler has a known history of being a locker room problem and a bad attitude? Was there anything before this one lone incident?

I'm sure you wouldn't have wanted us to trade for Steve Smith either back in the day if he had been on another team and we had the opportunity.

I can't wait to hear all the "BUT...BUT...BUT...JAKE HAS TEH FIREY ATITUDE N TEH LEADERSHIPP LOLZ!"

Here's how I'll answer that question. On pure physical talent, cutler is far ahead of Jake. But as far as a human being, cutler is also a world class idiot. He's a whiner who couldn't take the "insult" of a team examining all its options, including QB. Wake up, idiot. EVERYONE in the NFL is tradeable, everyone, including brady and manning.

So I DON"T want a whiner, a lousy leader, and a QB who puts up great numbers but has a sorry W-L record as my QB. I'm all for replacing Jake if the offer makes sense. Cutler doesn't.

I don't think Cutler is a locker room problem or has a bad attitude. But that doesn't mean he would be a good fit in Carolina. The comparison to TO is more about his wishes as a player, give me ball mentality, than what TO does in the locker room. I actually like that mentality. But with a team that is run heavy, Cutler just wouldn't be a good fit. Now, that is my opinion and Hurney and Fox could see it differently, who knows.

In his first three years of starting in the league (which is comparable to Cutler) he is 29-19.

He is like Christ in the sense he is being crucified by ignorant people for little apparent reason. Maybe a ton of folks wouldn't need to defend him if they felt he wasn't so unfairly attacked by a rabid segment of the fan base.

Because they rule on Madden and their xbox skills are unmatched, which means they think they actually know something about pro football.
