WTF are you talking about? Nobody ever said Kimbo was going to be good. Thats why he fought for a organization that went out of business.

Before Kimbos first fight with Elite the media was hyping him up like crazy. Even Dana White wanted him to make it in UFC thats why they made an entire reality show catered around him

seriously - wtf is up with this shi - t? I feel like Im living in a third world country- couple of latinos dukin it out ( supposedly) without knives for some sort of sparkly wwf belt. Never heard of either of them, not a white face in the crowd ( no Im not racsit but .........) and Ive never head of the "sport"

What the hell happened to real boxing on television - mano a mano with rules?

I used to box for 5 years, then I switched to jiu-jitsu then MMA then I quit everything. Boxing is not as exciting as MMA. People don't wanna watch 12 rounds fights anymore...

The media hyped up the fight because of his youtube videos. Not his skill.

Dana never thought he would make it. He made fun of him and his skill constantly. He hired him for ratings.

Is this going to re-air? What channel missed it..on Direct TV..

Dude, SportsCenter highlights of Panther games are longer than this fight lasted...

I'm an older guy (55) that grew up watching the great boxers (Ali, Frazier, Holmes, Foreman, Hearns, Hagler, Leonard) and I've always enjoyed boxing. But the MMA thing has really taken hold and I've seen a couple of the Spike TV things.

So I decided to sit down and watch last night's event and I came away extremely disappointed in a few ways.

First of all, why all the pre-fight crap from the network? They could have easily showed at least 2 undercard bouts.

Second, Dana White and Brock Lesnar did nothing to promote the sport to anyone above 25 years of age. They both came off looking like WWE wrestling promoters, a la Vince McMahon.

If they are serious abut making this a "mainstream sport" then put someone up there who will educate the public on the many aspects of the sport, the influences of martial arts, wrestling (the real stuff), boxing, etc. and get rid of these guys who look as though they've been juicing longer than Canseco, have issues communicating with the complete sentences using the English language, and make the Geico Neanderthals look like brain surgeons.
