Cam Newton MRI

It is being reported as a sore shoulder, so I assume the MRI was negative on anything serious. Probably just fatigue. NFL season is longer than college. He's been throwing a lot since he started working out in the summer up to now. Don't think anything in a game caused it. Although, it is possible. I don't expect his game to be effected.

Fwiw, a relatively high percentage of board members doesn't live in the wfnz listening area.

Fwiw, there's a lot of panther fans that never heard of or don't give a poo about this board or any other message board. I posted on ESPN and only checked the main page on this site for over a year before I thought about clicking on the forum. Fwiw, most people only listen to radio to listen to music.

TRD has no idea what you mean by that.

Panthers add Cam Newton to injury list

I just arrived in Atlanta and we’ve got a bit of NFC South news to catch up on.

The Carolina Panthers added quarterback Cam Newton to the injury list Saturday. The Panthers say Newton is probable for Sunday with a sore shoulder.

The fact the Panthers are listing Newton as probable likely means they simply are following NFL protocol for reporting injuries. Newton had an MRI on Friday that revealed no damage.

Expect him to be out there Sunday against the Titans. If you see Derek Anderson seriously warming up before the game, then there might be something to this. But all signs point to Newton playing Sunday.
