Why don't we utilize Pilares, AE, or Tutu?

AE will still be around. They said he was a project player and that it would take 2-3 years for him to develop. You guys act like they said 2-3 games. It's all a process and Rivera is behind all his young guys. If Gettis returns and makes an impact next season I see some 4 WR sets in the making.

New coaching staff bud, we saw how quickly Rivera got rid of Brown.

Yeah, he was drafted because we were getting a new coaching staff. John Fox admittedly did not want him. Hurney wanted him, envisioning 3-4 years down the road. Rivera has said he will stick by him and let him progress. You saw the progression he made from last offseason to this offseason. Assuming he makes the same strides I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the field next season in some capacity.

Sure you have Pilares but he's looked about as good at KR as AE has at PR so maybe the problem lies somewhere else. Either way they will be back, be it practice squad or suiting up.

If Hogan is starting I don't see this coaching staff using him as a return man. I haven't seen anything on Hogan except he has the talent to be an exceptional corner and has decent speed. I guess we will all find out.

Hogan is a quality PR man too (at WV at least). If he is a starting corner, that may be harder for the coaches to justify, but Gamble has done it for us earlier in his career too. We need a threat in the return game & AE is not it.

Not on a surgically repaired knee, doubt he'll be doing returns.

Yeah, I'm not sure how eager they are to play him at all. He's had what, 10.5 months to recover & a lot of that, not with NFL trainers? If it were up to me, I would keep him on the bench, but at some point this year, they need to see what they have. IF he can't return punts, then he can't be a #1 or #2 CB.

Its time like this when they can be used. We're down and the big play offense isn't working

Grab a couple quick guys and switch to a dink and dunk system. Thats why Cam getting sacked. We're still running the same offense waiting for something to open and they coming quick
