Why don't we utilize Pilares, AE, or Tutu?

Lafell hasn't hurt us with penalties because he's not in as many running plays, so it's a lot harder for him to get holding calls. Also at least 2 of the holds on Naanee were complete and total bullpoo.

Legs and Smitty have both dropped 3 passes. I do think that's too many for Legs given the times he's been targeted... but hopefully that is something he works on.

Finally, it's fine to remove the crutch and all but they still want to win games. It's totally possible that past the bye, Lafell may get more playing time as he and the offense as a whole will have had much more time together. I already think that the amount of playing time they are getting on passing downs isn't as radically different as some around here think, but maybe that's my perception.

The reality is we can't see practice, so we don't know what's happening, but I tend to think Rivera would play Lafell more than Legs if Lafell was really as superior a receiver to Legs as his stats this year seem to indicate.

Find me another WR in the league with 6 penalties YTD. Bad calls average out. Smitty had an arguably bad holding call, but that is the only one he has had all year.

I agree that Rivera thinks Naanee gives him the best chance to win at this point, but this is an area that I think he is looking at with his Chargers glasses on.

As fans, we are allowed to form opinions without reaping the consequences that await the coaches when they are in error. Nonetheless, this is an area in which I think Rivera is wrong.

So even though what I post is 100% accurate, it's considered trolling.

Yep, you were 100% right about Matt Moore. So, Nostradamus, why don't you share your infinite intelligence and handicap all of the NFL games this week against the spread ? Based on your 100% declaration, surely you can bless the Huddle with your brilliant brain.

Haha we were talking 1 time only.

Even if I cared enough to handicap every game and be 100% accurate, what makes you think I'd share that information with........uh................you?

We'll see. Gettis automatically becomes #2 when he gets back.

If our WRs are:

Smith

Gettis

Nay Nay

LaFell

Armanti

Hawaii 5-0

Rookie

We're not keeping all of them. Smith, Gettis, Hawaii are locks. That's Nay Nay, LaFell, Armanti, and rookie fighting for two spots.

I think he should be cut in that situation. Given our history of holding on to draft picks forever, I doubt he will be.

I disagree TRD, I think LaFell is most certainly a lock. Gettis has super star potential but lets not forget he is rehabing right now. Anyone can see that LaFell is the 2nd most talented WR on the team right now he's just rough around the edges and still developing. I really like the kids hands and he makes clutch catches just about every game. Naane is probably the WR that is gone next year.

Honestly who knows who could be out the door if we decide to draft a top flight WR. I don't think we will but if we go BPA a great WR might be on the board. LaFell's job is more secure than Gettis' in that respect.
