Why don't we utilize Pilares, AE, or Tutu?

So even though what I post is 100% accurate, it's considered trolling.

Didn't say your specific post claiming they sucked was trolling. Your tired routine is trolling though.

Can we stop ever mentioning Armanti unless he finally does something worth mentioning?

My freaking blood pressure goes thru the roof when I think that we gave up a 2nd rounder for him. There were many impact players avaialble & we go with Armanti. Plus...the Patriots of all teams gets the #1 pick in the second round b/c of that trade?! WTF! Great thinking Hurney & JR.

Ok, I'm going to breathe into a paper bag to calm down now..

Special packages? We have a limited number of offensive plays, why do people want the less talented guys to get the ball and take away opportunities for our real playmakers?

They're not playing for a reason. What you think they can do, and what they actually can do are not the same thing.

I understand rooting for guys to breakout and be that diamond in the rough, but that poo doesn't usually happen three years after joining the team. The real studs break through and prove they deserve the ball, it isn't just given to them.

Since when was Naanee a playmaker? Yet he still gets the start over Lafell. The only wideout we have that can break for the big play is usually doubled or tripled(Smitty). The ATL game was a perfect example of that.

Hey TuRD you still think we should of cut Brandon LaFell and gave AE more game snaps?

#LOLatYOU

LaFell should be cut, he's 4th on the depth chart of a team that uses two receivers, he just got lucky Gettis got hurt. Maybe he can put on some weight and be a TE when Shock leaves.

With Smith, Gettis, Olsen, possibly Shockey, Nay Nay, Stew, DWill, and whatever rookie we bring in getting targets before him next year, it'll only be a matter of time.

Lafell has looked very promising. He has made the most of his chances whenever he sees the field. I don't remember seeing him drop a single pass this season and has made some spectacular catches. We don't know what gettis will look like next season coming back from a acl injury. Cutting Lafell just because doesn't seem like a good idea. "PLAIN AND SIMPLE"

It's simply not what Carolina does. We hold on to draft picks way too long. No point in rehashing this old argument. I simply think he was drafted for an offense that is no longer here and other guys on the roster, when healthy, will fit better than him.

So explain to me why Naanee fits us better than LaFell. He is faster, I will give you that, but he is awkward, with poor body control, no skills to extend plays beyond the catch, and suspect hands at best.

Additionally, he has hurt us badly with penalties.

So why should he get more reps than LaFell? Or hell, even Tutu for that matter?

The reason he fits better right now anyway is that he knows the offense better. He helps get the play to the guys, helps them line up. We are playing under a system most of the guys say is very complicated, it helps to have someone who has played under a similar version of it that can help out a lot.

Also, every coach ends up with "his guys" and I think Legs is, at least right now, in that pool.

Lafell was evaluated when we were playing a different offense... he was supposed to be a good blocker, possession receiver kind of guy, but I think that TRD is right in that this offense doesn't need that if everyone is healthy... but they're not right now, and Lafell is having a decent enough season.

Now cutting him right now I think is extreme, but I could see a point in the future where if he doesn't make strides he is cut. But it won't happen this year, and he could definitely improve so I'm not certain the point in speculating much.

I think the knowing the system thing is over-rated now that we are at mid-season. Most of the players should have it pretty much down by now. We may be using Naanee as a crutch, but I would question why. I mean, we don't let Cam wear an arm band, forcing him to memorize instead, so maybe we should take the same approach with the rest of the offense and remove the crutch.

Naanee has just hurt us too much on offense. Maybe we have no one better, but I find that hard to believe. For whatever reason, I think he is, as you stated, Rivera's guy.

And as far as LaFell just being a possession guy, in comparison to Naanee that is just not true. LaFell's yards per catch is much, much better than Naanee's, he is a great blocker, and he hasn't hurt us with penalties.

I really cannot find a legitimate reason why we are relying on Naanee so heavily.
