Teams Eyeing Chudzinski?

I'm just saying. Whether it's now or two or three years from now Shula will be the top consideration for OC.
Well 3 years from now might be more of a chance he might get hired as a HC. Hell he might now even be with the panthers 3 years from now. Thing is Chud aside from been good at getting the offense to run pretty good. He has not really not done anything so far in his career that makes them want him yet as a HC. Unlike Jake Del Rio when he went to the SB in 2003 with the panthers and with a good defense right before he went to the jags and became HC. Chud will be with us for aleast 3 years aleast. This story is dead far as I'm concerned.

Its funny how retarded this fan base has gotten since we now have a competent offensive coordinator and a franchise quarterback.

No coach in there right mind would leave a team with this much potential to go to another bottom feeder with no potential even if its a promotion.

Chances to be a head coach don't come around that often.

Remember, Jack Del Rio left Carolina to go to Jacksonville, the season after we went to the Super Bowl. As they say... when opportunity knocks.

Del Rio would never leave such a promising young defensive unit to go coach a team bereft of talent in Jacksonville.

Why would Rivera leave a perrenial playoff team with the #1 defense to coach the lowly 2-14 Panthers?

It literally happens all the fricken time. Teams that suck fire their HCs and start anew with promising young assistant coordinators. Usually those coordinators have a little more experience, but Chud's situation, if he were to get a HC gig after this season, would highly resemble Rivera's. Both were coordinators with moderate to high success before, both got the axe. In Ron's case, he took a lesser role with the Chargers, moved up, and was snatched by us after very little time as the Charger's FT DC. It's not out of the realm of possibility.

I really do not get all the people on here praise our offense and how great cam is, but then think CHUD is gunna leave this team for more cash? I know cash talks, but lets put this into perspective CHUD likes being here he has the most dynamic player calling the plays in the huddle for him. The guy loves being able to create plays for a QB this league has not seen in awhile (maybe ever) and unless he can get an opportunity to do that else where he's staying PUT.

Chud has to be looking at Cam and thinking "I can become a legend with this kid as my QB."

Why the HELL would you ever leave that? I think we should pay Chud, sure. Especially if he can recreate this next season and even improve. However, put yourself in Chud's shoes. You have Cam and one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. You are going to have your ENTIRE offense back next year. You are young across the board, so nowhere to go but up. Would you honestly leave just to be a HC for a terrible team, where you are bound to have a bad QB (at least, guaranteed worse than Cam) and average to below average supporting cast around him? Probably also a terrible defense to boot. No. You don't do that. That's just bad decision making.

Chud isn't going anywhere. This thread happens every week.

garbage. plenty of coordinators or assistants take promotions on worse teams.

As unrealistic as it is, I hope Chud would be like a Dick LeBeau, Monte Kiffin, Jim Johnson type coordinator - one that is in it for the long haul and doesn't want all of the responsibilities of a HC gig, but would rather be respected as one of the top coaches in the game as a coordinator.

I would have no problem if we paid him like a HC to keep him here with Rivera. And I really don't want to lose Shula either.
