Hogan will be a stud CB

have you been watching Patrick Peterson? Only reason he gets talked about is b/c he returns punts...he has been abused as a CB. Takes time. Don't expect much from Hogan for a year or two.

Patrick Peterson was called out a lil bit on his coverage skills before he was even drafted.

the man is defnately faster than anyone in the videos-

pre draft write up from PFW - I guess the next couple years well see how it pans out- hoping for the steal

Summary: Adequate-sized, extremely talented, lionhearted cover corner with the twitch, playmaking ability, moxie and instincts to start and produce in the NFL, though his success will tie into how he can handle the trappings of professional life. Will require a nurturing, father-figure type of position coach to earn his trust. A high-risk, high-reward pick comparable to Darrent Williams, Hogan has red flags, including a knee injury that will not be fully recovered by his first training camp. Hed grades out like a second-rounder on tape, and no one questions his passion for the game or commitment between the lines. Relishes a challenge, won’t be intimidated and could be a steal if he’s held accountable and stays on the straight and narrow.

Thats really not fair. Peterson is a S trying to play CB while Hogan is actual CB.

I don't think the guy is going to be an instant stud player at CB right when he gets in the lineup (especially off of an injury) but he does look like he has great speed. That Pitt running back that he ran down was LeSean McCoy...made a great tackle. Again...looks to have a lot of skill but I still think that CB is our biggest need unless this staff is really worried about our LB depth even with Beason coming back.

WVu had 1 of the top defenses in the nation last year. Gimmick system too. With that said Hogan is a good tackler but I am waiting to see what he can do on the island before I praise him.

I don't know many rookie defensive backs that will start at the max 4th on the depth chart who wiill be put out on an island.
