I think the Jake/Fox years resulted in a lot of people in our fan base falling in love with the idea of picking up an unheralded journeyman/late round/undrafted quarterback for almost nothing that turns out to be a gold nugget and we win a bunch of Super Bowls Tom Brady/Kurt Warner style. Hence the Matt Moore love/"omg we could have had Dalton (with the second rounder we didn't have) instead" stuff from some posters (or the multiple alt accounts of one guy, rather).

That kind of scenario is rare. Outside of fantasy land, most Super Bowl winning quarterbacks tend to be high picks in the modern era.

Well you have to understand, the folks with the alts either a) came here and tried to throw their football knowledge around & it quickly became painfully obvious that said knowledge was mostly from playing Madden, or b) They insisted that we should draft "______" & when we didn't, the butthurt was too much for them.

Add to that the fact that most people here pointed & laughed at them before they got banned they now want to score whatever points they can.
