Rivera will be dissapointed with 4 wins?

Pretty sure he is.

He's never exactly struck me as a guy who takes losing very well.

would probably be easier to swallow if teams came out and kicked our teeth in the first half of the season....

Carolina shot itself in the foot or imploded more than the above occured.

We better win 6...I got a bet with a friend. We don't get 6 wins, I have to wear a giants jersey for a day and if we do then he will be wearing my Smitty jersey. Along with dinner at a sports bar.

I have a six win bet as well with a Falcons fan (on another forum however). Loser wears an avatar of the winner's choice for the entire offseason.

You're arguing with PFFL. Fair warning.

Not sure what this means...is this guy some TRD-level troll?

What the hell kind of logic is this? That's like me saying Cam's gone two games without an INT, so I think that means he will finish the season without another INT! Not throwing a pick one game has no bearing on whether or not he will throw a pick in the next game.

You're right about this part. Anything can happen on any given Sunday.

But Interception is a ratio too. Pass attempts/ interceptions. It's a good measuring stick. He's ratio is on par with Vick's and Romo's or was before this past Sunday when I last looked them up. Not sure who's down there with Cam now.

Another number people only look at by itself: interceptions. Meaningless. Interceptions PER PASS ATTEMPT: PRICELESS!

Did you not notice his numbers were amazing when he only threw the ball 23 times? When he throws it 35....we throw more pics. When his picks come early and we go down early, it requires an increase in passing attempts. Risk of interception thrown = higher. Chances of being tied or down in the 4th quarter is higher. When we are down or tied in the 4th quarter, he's 4th quarter rating plummets. When it does we are 1/14 in comeback or game winning drives. The risk of losing is 93%.

So it's a crapshoot. I should have said...whoever's turn to throw one first comes. It's like picking the lottery. How lucky are you feeling?

So you tell me...what kind of logic is that? The kind where you put one stat + one stat together in a realistic game playing fashion. Or REAL football logic.

It's still year one.

If it keeps happening in year two, then I'll be worried.

No he's not a troll. He's a guy that knows his poo and people hate him when they all go crazy over hype because he doesn't.

Gentlemen, this might be easier to understand once you realize that PFFL, Pantherball, Stew23 and ShawnJohn are one and the same.

It's like that stalking girlfriend you just couldn't get away from.

Which means you should listen, cause he's rarely wrong.

Let's see what PFFL was right about:

-Clausen is not the Future of the Franchise. True

-Matt Moore will play as a starter somewhere this year. True.

-If we draft a #2 receiver, AJ green and get any decent QB, we win(see Bengals) True.

-Cam Newton is a narcissist and he's going to do great things in the NFL: Good or Bad. True.

-Never jump on a rookie QB too early. Always stick to your vets. True.

-Vets = winning. Rookie QB's = crapshoot and losing. True.

-#1 Draft pic QB's crapshoot. We got lucky...or so far it seems we did. Still True though.

-Cam's QB rating drops in the 4th quarter in comeback winning and game winning drives. True.

-PFFL = realistic. True.

I think that's a pretty good summary of why PFFL's hated. Because the majority here gets it wrong, when it counts and hate the "little guy". And because when this franchise took a wrong turn last year it made everyone LOSE SIGHT OF WHAT'S IMPORTANT: WINNING! Doesn't mean you should stop listening though. Cause you all agree with him sooner or later. You just forget to credit him with anything.

He was only wrong about one thing since he's been on this forum: Steve Smith slowing down. And he plans on doing something to make up for it.

Because he wants to WIN! ALWAYS. Not just arguments. But Football Games! And Cam Newton is right about one thing: We need more fans and players like PFFL who doesn't ever give up.

So when Cam has made our fanbase fanatical and as it turns out, when a season is this exciting, most people may have a point in that common sense and reason is probably the last thing one should worry about. But somebody's gotta fuging do it.

Pretty sure that is just your opinion and hasn't been proven true

The fact that you can quote all of PFFL's predictions is a telling sign of who you are.

The fact that half of those "predictions" are "true" based on subjective opinion is also sad.

May god have mercy on your soul.
