I know the Patriots get a lot of credit for building a perennial contender, and I'm not saying I want to bring him in, but maybe it just wasn't the right spot for him. Washington signed him and then changed their entire scheme to something he wasn't really happy with, and then he got traded to New England, not by choice, to play on the worst defense in the league. Maybe it'd do him good to get to pick the team he wants to play on that won't up and change his role in his first year there and maybe he'll produce. Not everyone gets motivated by getting bitched at.

If Hurney really wants to satisfy the fans, and I'm not talking about the typical fans, I'm talking about the true FANS, he will sign the guy to a one year deal and let him show his stuff for the rest of this season.

True that. I'm way too much of an optimist when talking about this team...hell I believe we can go 8-0 in the second half of the season so I'm the wrong person to speculate on these sort of things.

Fans seem to fall into one of these catagories about Haynesworth:

1.) Don't bring him here because of character issues.

2.) If he's cheap, then plug him in and see what he can do.

3.) He sucks so why bother.

Albert Haynesworth flat out quit for going on 3 entire NFL seasons. sh*tty comparison.

LMFAO I never saw Haynesworth give up in playoff game or when a team needed a win. The man was up front to the Redskins that he want to play UT not NT. Peppers was no different the last few years here only he was content on giving up on every game that was not on prime time. Even then he would give up in the playoffs and just disappear.

Change can have a big effect on players. Let the man pass threw wavers, then if he wants to come here let him... End of story.
