If we have a top 7 pick would you guys want us to try and trade down and get more picks or just pick BPA.

The BPA at a location where we end up picking may very well be a WR.

Depends on whos projected to be there and who all comes out for the draft. If its a strong draft, I want more picks. If a great player is going to be there at say #7, I say get him.

The top 10 will be loaded with potentially great players IMO, a couple QBs, OT and WRs and Trent Richardson of course. Mostly offensive players whereas we need help on defense the most.

I wouldn't be against drafting a WR or Kalil if given the chance though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when a player is traded then contract goes with him with no cap penalty? Right?

If that is correct then I can see FO dealing out Dwill for our lost 3rd. They just did the contract the way they did to insure he gets his? Don't know, just guessing

With a milestone contract likely due for Cam, we are not in position to b cash strapped.

OK

Question 1.12

What happens if a player is traded or retires?

Answer: We already know that if a player is waived on or before June 1, the remaining signing bonus that has not been included in salary “accelerates” and is included in that year’s team salary. Acceleration also occurs when a player is traded or waived and picked up by another team. The new team is not responsible for any of the original signing bonus. The team that waived or traded the player is responsible for the accelerated signing bonus (in the same manner as described above).

In most cases, if a player retires, the remaining signing bonus that has not been included in salary “accelerates” and is included in that year’s team salary. Thus, the team will take an immediate salary cap hit of the remaining signing bonus.

This is the worst list I have seen. By a sizable margin.

Yes, seriously. DT should be at the top of the list, way ahead of the other positions. Our pass defense hasn't really been too shabby this year, if we could stop people from running over our face up the middle, things would be different.

As far as needs go, before signing any of our own free agents I would say

Pressing needs (need a starter and possibly more depth)

UT

OLB

OG

OT

Secondary needs (could add a starter but at a minimum we need depth)

CB

DE

WR

NT

Depth needed but no real hole at starter

MLB

S

TE

QB

C

Unless a Suh 2.0 is in this draft we go CB or OT or OL 1st to replace Otah. We drafted 2 DT and a 3rd wont help us any we need a FA DT. Conner will be gone after this year we need his replacement and TD gone we need to find his replacement as well. The bottom rounds we need depth at DE and DT.

My list is spot on.

We have Gettis,Lafell, Olsen and Smitty we dont need a WR.
