Call of Duty Elite is still having issues... I got it to work once for about 5 minutes, but even then the only part that worked was the Black Ops playercard.

And I discovered that I'm absolutely terrible at game. Not sure why, cant figure it out. I can unload 50 rounds of machine gun ammo half way across the map at someone, see the hit markers showing up, but then they pop me twice with a SCAR and it's over. In the killcam it's a hail of gunfire coming in all over them, but not hitting them. Just cant get it.

You gotta level up your guns. My m4 class is at level 31(max gun level) and once you unlock the gun-perks they become a lot more accurate and powerful.

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't like the way the game feels this year. I hadn't checked this forum recently until today, but I had been meaning to post a BF3 vs MW3 thread.

WTF is going on with the speed of this game? I understand BF and COD are two different games, and this is the first year I've played BF and actually had that game. So, I got used to the speed and mechanics of that game before MW3 came out...

So, of course, it would take some time to get accustomed to MW3's play style once I got it. I expected that. But, it's not just that it feels so much faster than BF, it's that it feels so much faster than any other COD I've ever played. Very unrealistic. It's like every guy in the game runs a 4.2 40 yard dash and has the lateral quickness of Allen Iverson on speed in his prime. I don't like the way that feels at all.

I really hope they patch it and slow it down with the first update because as-is, it is really unenjoyable and unbelievable to me right now. You have no time to really think, it's as if they made it for run and gunners only, and the sad part is, that's my style of play and it just doesn't feel right.

I expected much more from this release. I still hold that MW2 may be my favorite game of all-time on PS3, and this just hasn't met those expectations, or even came close for me. They really need to slow it down, just feels way too unrealistic.

I actually had quit after the first night in part b/c of the gameplay, and then the stupid Elite Premium code I had went through but didn't give me an actual download and then Elite was broken anyway... But, I played a few games on release night and went back to BF3 for awhile. I just started playing MW3 again yesterday for a few games and I'm still kind of unhappy with it. I've gotten more comfortable with the game and am back up to around my usual 1 KDR, but I still don't like it.

With Blind Eye, Assassin, and Dead Silence.

SCAR for me and I'm stuck at a 1.25 the game play is much faster the M16 my fav weapon is a thing of the past now....I miss my M16

I'm at 2.02 right now, like a 4.50 win ratio also. It's definitely fast for sure.

wow, you guys are good... Last time I played I was around 0.60 kD, lol. Frustrating, so thats when I popped BF3 back in because I'm actually decient at it.

whats your strategy? I can go like 28 and 4 one game and then 15 and 20 the next. I can get on a hot streak and have a string of 1+ KDR games, but then I go through a couple of bad spots as well.

I always play TDM... I haven't really messed around with the other game modes in any of the CODs unless it was required to unlock something.

I just find a gun and perks that work for me and stick to it really.

Some buddies just said 10th prestige lobbies are back just like MW2. This disappoints me big time.

Alot of players religiously check their mini maps. put that assasin perk on and your indetectible. Definitly helped me play better

The spawn points have reached a new level. I have martyrdom as a death streak. I died, and spawned right beside my grenade and nearly killed myself with my own deathstreak.

I'd say my K/D Ratio is somewhere b/w .6 and .8. I'm terrible at the game (same hit detection problems, people killing me with one bullet to the arm, surviving SEVERAL up close shotgun blasts to knife me.

I love the G36C (virtually an SMG as an assault rifle). I've found my groove with that. I go b/w Scavenger and Sleigh of Hand; Overkill, Hardline, and Assassin; and Marksman or Stalker Pro.
