Interviewing people is a constant reminder to myself that I will never have a problem finding a job.

The amount of idiots out there, with their horrible resumes, interview skillsets and just general lack of brain power is amusing only when it happens to others.

Well aren't you lucky. Most of us fail interviews because we lack the experience the employer really wants (why you'd make me drive a 700 mile round trip to say you really liked me, but you went with a person that had more experience with the company is beyond me).

It's a shitty, shitty market. Sure there are a ton of idiots out there, but there's also a ton of kids like myself that simply can't catch a break. Nobody is willing to take the time to train somebody when there's always an experienced body to plug in thanks to the economy

I've given plenty of "kids like you" a chance here... we've hired probably a dozen kids right out of college here in the last 3 years... trust me, it's hard to find good ones. Out of the dozen I hired, I interviewed dozens more, and really only two of those I hired turned out to be decent.

We're laid back too... very lax dress code, if you can call it a dress code... I don't really care what time you work as long as the work gets done, and I still have a hard time finding people.

Is it too much to ask for a coherent interview?

What kind of business do you have?

Maybe I could just hire you to be in charge of hiring... then we'd have an office full of hot womenz... and still not get any work done...

oh yeah...the interview process would be...quite thorough. :D

You've clearly not given a "kid like me" a chance then.
