He actually got loose on a couple runs today. We will definitely need to pack a good game plan. A good lead can be the best defense..

the world was falling when AP was coming to town, everybody thought he would rush for 200 yards...We did a fairly decent job considering our defense...so lets have confidence in our D even though they have let us down multiple times.

If Rivera & McDermott plan for him like they did for AP, we should be okay. They were able to stuff the run better than all season against 1 of the best RBs in the league. I think Phillips was a big part of that success & when he went down, so did our run stopping ability. I know this sounds strange of a guy that was starting his 1st game for us, but re-watch the game. I'm worried if our D stays on the field too long, then starts to play poorly against the run.

No, it was just enough.

I've been pleasantly surprised with our run D through 3 quarters, late in close contests, we haven't held. Not particularly worried about CJ though.
