My brother's company sent him to Germany for 2 months to work, all expenses paid.

He wants me to come visit for about 10 days, and told me the only thing I am responsible for is my plane ticket (roughly $800), and he would pay for everything else, food, travel, etc.

I am currently a student, but I will start working for good in January. I have never been out of the country, and this might be my only viable opportunity for a long time.

I am leaning towards going, but I am not certain. I am going to have to make a decision by today. Because I am going to have to get a passport with expedited to get here in 2-3 weeks because I would be leaving on Dec. 2?

Thoughts? Advice? Do I need anything other than a passport, like visas?

Second question... Anyone know the best way to get the cheapest possible airfare? Besides the travelocity or those websites.

I have little idea of how much this stuff should cost.. is 800$ round trip a pretty good fare?

searched kayak and a couple others and 890 was cheapest
