Sorry I know Dalton has played well and his team is winning and all but I'm just not overly impressed by him. The "bring them along as game managers and then hand them the keys later" thing has yielded mixed results lately (Bradford, Ryan) and it seems like handing inexperienced players the keys and letting them sink or swim from the word go has worked better (Rodgers, Stafford, Freeman to some extent, soon to be Newton).

Put Dalton in a Carolina uni and see how he does.. I bet we would still losing and the games would not be nearly as exciting.

Not to be a booger but Rodgers sat on the bench and Stafford shared a lot of playing time with Hill. Cinci had no other option but to start Dalton and he has stepped up.

Actually i think they will have their hands full with Tennessee. I'm a big fan of Hasselbeck and wanted Carolina to sign him in the off season. Tennessee is lucky. Hasselbeck is head and shoulders above Vince Young and he has the Titans in the playoff hunt. Big game between the two. Its kind of funny that the 2 quarterbacks i wanted are playing against each other in a big game. Although a bit strange because i "know nothing about quarterbacks" as someone pointed out..:cool:

Dalton hasn't really done anything amazing with the Bengals. They are the same team they were 2 years ago, a team with a really good defense and running game that made the playoffs.

They just collapsed last year due to internal strife, with TO, Ochocinco, and Palmer all making trouble.

The Ravens talk is funny. If Dalton beats the Ravens, you guys will point to Gabbert etc and say how bad the Ravens are. If he loses, Gabbert beat them and Dalton couldn't so how bad is Dalton, terrible right?

Other teams can have promising young players too, it's okay. Cam is still exciting, and that's all that matters here in Carolina.
