Two Georgia players to look out for

Recommended Posts

Brandon Boykin- CB/KR: Solid player on both defense and STs but probably one of the best KRers in the SEC. He also has played RB on some packages which has led to some big plays.

Blair Walsh-K: The best kicker in the SEC . Has rarely missed from any distance. This isn't an indictment on Mare but Mare is 38 and not getting younger.

Did you see the UF-UGA game? Walsh went 1/3...all being less than 40 yards. He is 13/23 on the year (that is not a typo) although his long is 56 yards. But it's not like they've all been ridiculously long. From 30-39 yards he is 6/10 and 2/6 from 40-49 yards out.

Boykin, he's not great on defense but is a heck of a returner. Not sure I would want to use a pick on a return specialist though.

The last kicker we had from Georgia ended up being pretty decent...

This isn't the same person. I don't understand why people reference where they went; it provides no similarities to their ability, talent, work ethic, nor did they have the same coaches.

Why state the obvious? You must think that by me saying "They went to the same school" that I automatically think that Blaie Walsh is going to have a HoF worthy career, just because John Kasay went to Georgia too? Get a life.

I can't believe you actually started a thread about a Kicker and a Punt Returner.

What's wrong with you, man?

Have you seen our special teams?

Btw, Boykin is not as bad of a corner as some stated, in fact he is rated the 4th best corner among some nfl draft analysts.

Regarding Walsh, this has not been his best season but has been pretty accurate through his career at UGA. He has earned all sec first team last season among the coaches vote.

Don't be so defensive broseph. I'm letting you know it doesn't matter if they went to the same school.

It's a fun fact josemite. No hidden conotation behind it. I fully understand there is no corelation between kickers and everyone else does as well.
