Thomas Davis will return to the Panthers...

really, aside from QB, RB, and probably S i can't imagine that the panthers are strong enough at any position to turn down the opportunity to draft a stud for fear of having too much talent. as long as the player that is actually drafted is going to live up to his draft status, i really couldn't care less which direction they go. would definitely prefer defense, though, if only to give rivera a playmaker to set the tone on that side of the ball. hurney does pretty damn well at finding players with his first pick that are solid and ready to ball out.

I think our strongest positions are probably what you mentioned. Glad to see the hate on Godfrey has resided, b/c we are lucky to have him. What a difference a year makes when he isn't baby sitting Richard Marshall's side of the field.

Yeah, I get what you are saying. But at some point last season, Jimmy Clausen was our future at QB last season.

I see those guys as rotational guys, maybe solid starters.

I havent done a lot of research on the draft class, but I think we need a stud there.

But again, I just want the BPA at the positions that I previously listed.

Yeah I completely agree. But in this draft class the only guy that is worth been drafted in the top 15 at the DT position is Brandon Thompson from Clemson and he really doesn't look good this year.

Here is a couple of Highlights.

Honestly, my biggest issue with Alshon is that he's not a good fit for our offense. We need a vertical threat that can also be an all'round receiver. Gettis is a good deep threat, but not a true #1. LaFell isn't a deep threat. We need someone who can play the role Smitty plays right now. A Greg Jennings type. Alshon Jeffery isn't that. Honestly, I'm not sure Michael Floyd is either, but he's a hell of a lot faster, quicker, and more of a deep threat than Alshon is.

Justin Blackman would be so fuging perfect :nonod:

I say OT is #1 but holy sh*t if Blackmon slipped to us...they have to draft him.

Good news if it turns out to be true! Hopefully his knee holds up this time. Of course they need to have a backup plan, but Beason TD and Anderson are going to wreck next year

no reason to believe TD is going to do anything for us next year or be on the roster.

We don't even know for a fact Beason will be back to his old self.

Carolina needs to address the LB spot. Can't hope for the best possible outcomes and rule it not a worry.

You guys that want the panthers to draft a WR should take a look at Nick Toon out of Wisconsin and Ryan Broyles from OU. These guys have potential to become the number 1 WR after Smitty leaves or even Smitty goes in the slot. Smitty also says he wants to move to slot so he can Prolong his career. Also we can get one of these guys in the second round.

What we need is Sammy Watkins in a couple years.....that kid is nasty. He will probably put on some muscle too the next couple years. A WR like that would be perfect
