Thomas Davis will return to the Panthers...

OLB is probably our single biggest need, I don't are if we spend a top 5 pick on filling that hole.

I would say in order of needs:

1. DT

2. OT

3. OLB

4. CB

5. WR

There have been numerous DT first round busts. You can sometimes get a seasoned veteran or a dude off the street that can be just as or more effective.

Honestly, if we have say the #9 pick and Mike Adams (OT OSU) or Ryan Kalil, I'd say we take OT.

Based on the lists I've seen, there is not superstar OLB that could really warrant a pick over a stud OT.

Bring TD back if:

1) It's at an insanely recuded rate.

2)We address the LB position as if he won't be back next year.

Obviously nothing personal against TD, I love the guy, but we can't risk having something like this year happenb to us next year with Danny Don't Go Nowhere Fast in the middle and some waiver wire sign on the outside.

That said, there really isn't any wonderful LB'er prospects in this year's draft. If Brown wasn't a Tarheel you wouldn't hear a single thing about him. Average prospect.

I love TD, but after 3 torn ACL's in 2 years it's time to move on.

I mean I gotta agree with this.

He says he wants to stay here, even if at a reduced role/reduced money...but we shall see when it becomes time to cross that bridge.

Panthers FO: Okay, TD, we love you and want you to come back. We are going to release you, then bring you back at slightly above the veteran minimum.

Davis: Okay. I want to come back. I love it here and don't care about the $$$.

Panthers release Davis.

Raiders FO: Offer Davis a 5 year, 40 million dollar contract.

Thomas Davis signs with Raiders.

If we are picking top 10 I just dont see a LB'er worth it.

I know brown plays for UNC and that makes him Patrick Willis.

I will have to look harder I guess. My opinion is open to change.

Draft is Deep at DB FWIW. Pretty average at DT so far. Tho Jerrel Worthy has caught my eye.

Cool. For what?

We gotta keep Conner around.

Because Connor. Connor. Connor. How many times must it be said. Connor. With an O. Sucks. Plain and simple. He doesn't have the speed to be a quality LB at this level. He was nice in a rotation, but with his contract running out, he isn't worth paying. Especially not in a division with 3 other passing offenses. OT as our number two need is also laughable.

I'm telling yall, especially with Cam now in place as our FQB, offensive tackle needs to be the #1 priority this draft. Big time players available.

Gross isn't getting any younger and now relies solely on his experience and technique against younger more athletic bookends, and who fuging knows with Otah.

It amazes me that many of you don't see this.

LOL. How much money do you think this guy is going to get on the free agency market? Conner, like most MLBs not named Beason or Willis, would benefit tremendously from an effective DT.

Brown being a Tarheel has absolutely nothing to do with it, he's just that good. Read te draft sites, unless you think they're all UNC homers too.

DT is a need right now, but I don't think it will be in preseason once we get Edwards back and the rooks have a full season and by then a full offseason under their belts. All I want on D is a starter at OLB and a true FS.
