Thomas davis has been great role model for young athletes in the charlotte area i hope he comes back 100% but davis man this time don't rush it you got more then a year to make that knee strong and healthy.

yeah its very doubtful that beason will be ready to go at the beginning of the season and who knows how he'll do when he finally does come back. and connor is a free agent and will most likely want to go to a place where he has a better shot at starting full time (not to mention money and a better franchise). what we do with that mlb spot is going to be tricky

I would be glad to have TD back at a much reduced rate, maybe include some playing time/performance escalators if he is able to earn them. If he will come back cheaply, at the worst, he's a great team guy who will work his tail off and lead by example. I question the strength left in his knees, and if that has allowed him to have anything left in the tank.

Then again, I am sentimental. I'd love to see what we can work out in the draft, but that is still a LONG way way.

Hopefully they can get a trade down & get a talented OLB ( Zach Brown, Courtney Upshaw), DT (Brandon Thompson, Alameda Ta?amu, Jerel Worth) or OL (Mike Adams, Zebrie Sanders, Cordy Glenn)

If they get an elite WR like Blackman then I'd love that as well.

CB is not really a need & only makes sense if they go BPA & get Janoris Jenkins, Dre Kirkpatrick or Morris Claiborne.

If they draft for 3-4 D and get Quinton Coples or Jared Crick I'd be happy with that too.

I was listening to a doctor from Wake Forest school of medicine talk about torn ACL's in relation to football. He said that the recovery time could be 8-12 months, however the time to get back to playing full speed could be 18-24 months.

He didn't talk about Achilles tears though.

Now are tendons something that is basically the same for everyone, or would someone in Beason's impressive physical shape have stronger tendon's than the average Joe or even the average athlete? Maybe before they start testing they can keep him on an HGH regiment to strengthen up that sumbitch.

generally speaking, a steady, balanced weight training regiment will yield an overall strengthening of ligaments and tendons

but being able to play football at the level that Beason has played until this season requires the most optimum conditioning of physical fitness and strength

but honestly, I'd bring him back if he wanted to as long as roster space allowed and he heavily restructured that contract.

Has it been his excellency in pass protection? Has it been his promise in the run game? Or are you simply saying this because you don't believe someone as unsexy as Bell could be given the "future" tag? Are you mentally using his penalties to justify that assumption. I want to know what he has done other play well to make you say that OT is some glaring need, especially how nice of depth Otah would be (who, btw, the prospect of moving to Guard is hilarious)

He has been at best inconistent overall.

In his first two started game he gave up four pressures and a hit, followed by 3 pressures, a hit , and a sack.

In the last two he given up only two pressures and a sack. So he has and is improving. And I wouldnt rule him out for a future gig.

But four games (two of which were pretty bad) is not enough to state this guy is our future,and shrug off a high rated OT (assuming Otah isnt the answer).

Your problem is you make up these stories in your replies. You sound crazy. I made no mention of my view point against yours. Then you go on about me not being able to back my view point, which doesn't even match your original point. It's just that time and time again I see you acting like a royal jackass to people. I don't get it. You're the one not being able to accept that people have view points separate from your own and that a lot of situations pertaining to a sports team are not as easy as black and white. Who the hell really knows what this team need the most? Is Peppers an elite DE? Etc etc...
