look, I'm in complete disagreement with grits & his crew that Cam is costing us games or whatever

but everyone jumped down my fuging throat when I said turnovers and stalling drives(a lot of that has to do with penalties which isn't on Cam) makes our defense looks worse than it is(our defense is still turrible but it's not historically bad which some of you seem to act like). you can't deny that Cam's 2 fumbles turning into points for the Vikings significantly decreased our win probability

you also can't deny Cam's fantastic game outside of those 2 fumbles were the only reason it was a game to begin with.

Jared Allen is one of the leagues premiere pass rushers. Gross isn't superman and he's not going to be able to keep him at bay every down. Cam's gotta be extra protective of the ball when he's facing a guy like Allen.

I'm not saying Gross doesn't deserve the blame for that. Just saying Cam made mistakes that game and it hurt us. He helped a helluva lot more than he hurt though. Something you expect with rookie quarterbacks.
