I'm excited about what Hogan can bring to the table. Obviously, they're not going to ask him to come out and start opposite Gamble, but maybe he can get us some better field position.

Each punt we receive I'm always thinking, "don't muff it! Don't muff it! Don't muff it!" and when AE catches it and dances for a 2 yard gain I genuinely believe that's the best outcome that could have resulted.

Each KR, I'm always thinking, "take a knee! Take a knee! Take a knee!" and then they bring it out, get tackled on the 13 AND get a half a distance to goal call on receiving team. And I'm conditioned to believe that that's the best outcome possible on that particular play.

If Hogan can do ANY better than that, I'll be a happy camper.

Hogan was activated today, and Thomas Keiser was signed from the practice squad

HAHA! Thats exactly how I feel. Everytime AE even just catches it I feel like he did a really great job. Thats not a good sign.

I dont want to get too excited and say that he will. Ideally, I'ld like to see him as a nickel on a few plays and returning some punts but I doubt we'll see a ton of him.

i dont think we'll see much of him either, Riv has been very precautionary with our players thus far and i dont expect it to change much in this case. But if we see more of him than i expect, that'd be great.

That, and I can't remember if it was earlier in this thread or another thread about him, but last I heard he was getting first team reps with the defense and ST during the bye week IIRC.

They need to get Hogan playing time this year, or they go into the draft next year not knowing what we have at a potential position of need.

Guys like him and Pilares should see the field a bit more by the end of the year.
