The Golden Calf of Bristol will never be a good QB in this league. He just has too much wrong with him. The fact is he cant run like Vick or pass like Aaron Rogers so he is at a big disadvantage.

I'm not sure he can pass better than Jimmy :jc: much less AR

The Golden Calf of Bristol has a ridiculously long release time, and his throwing motion is just awkward. Couple that with constant pressure from the defense, and I honestly don't know if The Golden Calf of Bristol can make it in the NFL.

I know coaches tried to alter his throwing motion and mechanics but it doesn't seem like it ever worked out.

And obviously his accuracy is not up to par. Technically the jury is still out on The Golden Calf of Bristol since he hasn't played enough games, but damn. Don't know how long Fox is going to keep him in there.

He's throwing motion is shitty but sometimes you can get away with that (Phillip Rivers). However, he lacks in pretty much every other aspect...pocket presence, accuracy, arm strength, ability to read the defense, etc. The odds of him starting in a conventional offense and being successful are very low.

If I needed help storming a beach under enemy fire Teebow would be 1b right after Steve Smith of the players in the NFL I would ask to help me. However right not Teebow needs extensive training and reps just to reach bad. Right now atrocious is the only word that describes his QB play.

My original intent of the thread was suppose to be carrying a "I'm thankful for Cam already" tone more so than a "The Golden Calf of Bristol blows hard" tone, but you guys are right, he really is BAD.

You'd think he would have improved his mechanics and throwing accuracy at least some by now. It is year 2 for him after all. I can only imagine what Cam might be capable of with a whole year and a full off-season under his belt

Based off what I've seen he should only be used inside the 20yd line @ QB, he'd add another dimension for the defense to gameplan for. They could run that "Pistol" look like we've done with Cam, D-Will, and Stew, but fro them I imagine, The Golden Calf of Bristol, Moreno, and McGahee.

This or fullback.

    • When we drafted Luke, we already had Cam, Smith, Olsen, Stewart, Deangleo, Gross, Kalil, CJ, Hardy, Beason, TD, Gamble (and maybe more I'm forgetting), we had a lot of great pieces in place. Going pure BPA for a player with Luke's potential when the LB you already have is different when you already have all those pieces in place.  Our OL right now is probably in a better shape than that team and our RBs and TE have potential compared to proven vets back then, but after that, the 2012 roster was in a far better shape than we are right now. We need a #1 WR, DEs, LBs, DBs, C, and depending who you ask a QB.  Going BPA at pick #5 when that player is a DT and your current best player on either side of the ball is a DT, seems irresponsible. If he's the only player they like that high left, then you trade back and go with position of more need at a slot that makes sense for the player while adding other picks.  If you trade back and he falls because other teams don't need/want a DT, then you consider him at that point because of the value.
    • This sounds like the same back and forth when we drafted a LB when we already had a LB or as mentioned prior back to back DLs. I want the BPA, if it is another DT so be it. (No not a kicker/punter for those people that think they are funny))
    • I’m hoping SMU messes it all up and wins out. Imagine the SEC & BI0 would crap themselves trying to “fix” the problem.
