I love this guy. He has been a key addition to this offense and takes pressure of Smitty and Olsen. But, the topic of resigning him hasn't come up much. Should we Resign him? Maybe a nice 3yr Deal.

I love how like 3 years ago people suggested shockey and alls responses were "fug no he will ruin the lockerroom" etc. now you see that given the right circumstances any player can be productive anywhere (of course albert hayneswortg being the key exception)

I never thought of Shockey as a "Ruin the locker room" type of guy, more as a "Potential to get into a fight and cost your team 15 yards then get ejected" type.

He's really the Steve Smith of TEs.

The thing I love most about Shockey besides his pass catching ability is that he is a great teammate. You know he is always gonna stick up for you. I hated him when he was a Saint but now that he is here I love him. I have made this comparison before but he is a Noah-like player. You hate him when he is not on your team but love him if he is a teammate of yours.

Yea i agree. Did anybody see the Cowboys Game? When The Eagles corner hooked Dez Bryant? He was just yelling at the ref curseing him out using every word in the book. Him and Romo, and I was thinking to my self if it was Shockey or Smith they would've got penalized.

I honestly thought Shockey was washed up. I was wrong. Give him 2 more years and have TE set for the next couple of years.

The only negative thing about Shockey is that pussy linebackers lean on him and then fall to the ground like they have been shot when he crosses the middle and they always get the call. It happens almost every week. Apparently he has a rep for OPI.

Love Shockey's performance this year. He plays with lots of fire and you can tell he's good for this lockerroom. Plus he'll be playing with a massive chip on his shoulder against NO twice a year. Didn't work out really well for us on the first try, but it doesn't hurt to have that going forward.
