The problem is, this guy is an admitted fan of another team, spent most of his time here in "Lovely Ladies," "The Lounge," and "Tinderbox" until we drafted Cam, and then began trolling the sh*t out of his threads even when he had no ground to stand on.

All his posts trash our QB - THE QB OF OUR FRANCHISE.

Yet, Ponder has an average performance in a game and won by default because he drove down in the 4th and his kicker made a FG, whereas we got called for a BS penalty and our kicker missed... And this is impressive to him.

So impressive that, despite anything Cam has done, it hasn't warranted its own "positive" thread... But Ponder does?

I don't need to explain it. I'm sure if he likes Ponder enough he'll be a member over at Vikingloveboat.com once he's banned from here... kind of like he joined here after Skins fans got tired of him... Most likely after he melted down over McNabb becoming the starter there after he hope Colt Brennan would win out.

Ponder's game was average, and numbers make it fact. He was less than 200 yards passing when the top QBs throw more than 300, and had one TD when many have multiple.

That's a good viewpoint to have, and where we disagreed was there. I don't think he needs to win games. As long as he's not Jimmy Clausen bad, he'll be our QB. He'll be very popular here and around the league coupled with JRs odd desire to keep every single one of his players, no matter what.

Last time I checked, this site is called "CAROLINA HUDDLE." It's meant for PANTHER FANS to interact and communicate with each other primarily. So, any troll that invades the forum for no other reason than to antagonize and piss people off shouldn't have their threads addressed of taken seriously. And as a PANTHER FAN, I am free to mention my QB in any forum, as this site is primarily focused on the Panthers.

Mind you, there ARE fans of other teams that have been integral members of this site as long as I've been here... Rockets, c0r, Dimbee, etc.

But, the culture of the internet has changed since the huddle started, and now we have fans from other teams pretending to be fans here for the sole purpose of causing arguments and antagonizing people. It's getting old.

If this guy posted REAL football discussions that demonstrated a general knowledge of football and allegiance to this team, OR ANY TEAM for that matter, then maybe I could take this thread seriously. But, he hasn't, neither have you, therefore, I don't.

It makes them subjective, like everyone else. Maybe it was average, I don't know. QBR and Total QBR say it was above average.

They also say Matt Moore's game was above average but people here would tell you it wasn't.
