Whew-woooo... Panties all up in bunches in this thread, peoples getting testy.. This is entertainment....

I threw my Panther towel and hat against the wall, kicked a previously frozen bottle of AmberBoch over the fence into the neighbor's yard and pulled my 34 jersey off and threw it forcefully into the hamper...

I wanted to break my foot off in the ass of the person that made the decision to cut John Casey from the Panthers.

Why is that? Can't see that the 14 short-field points off of turnovers made the field goal at the end even possible? What, do you think the field goal is more important than the 14 points off turnovers?

Did you also want to break your foot off in Cam Newton and Jordan Gross for those two fumbles? What about Steve Smith for the holding penalty that WIPED OUT A FIRST AND GOAL opportunity to WIN IN REGULATION WITH A TOUCHDOWN?

The Vikings didn't do squat on offense...but they got 14 points of Panthers turnovers.

So, tell me, why is the kick so much more important to you than every other play that also affected the outcome?

Why? Because it's the last thing you saw?

14 points off turnovers or not, Mare's job is pretty much only to kick the ball through the uprights. Missing a kick that is 4yds longer than an extra point is surely to be blamed. Sure almost everybody on the team could have done better, but Mare had a job to do, and he whiffed... The O & the D put us in a position to win, or at least go for a win, but a chipshot FG got missed and so did the win...

Did you not read what I said? I didn't say it was the kickers fault. We lost as a team. I just don't understand the decision to cut one of the best NFL kickers in the league .I will say this though. When the team moves the ball down the field and all the kicker has to do is make a chip shot and he misses a short fieldgoal to tie the score, then he didn't help the team any. That's the kickers job. I have a job and sometimes I make mistakes and it cost me money. Will you make me feel good and say it's not my fault.

I think ppl are over looking the fact that mare gets paid what half of us would make in a lifetime to make one fuggin kick from 31 yards.....was it his fault I going with yes there no such thing as a perfect football game there's always going to be mistakes but to missed a chip shot fg after the offense got us in position and let's nit forget the d held the vikes to a fg. Special teams needs to show up period this is the 3 year we have had shitty ST since mark jones was back there returning kicks
