as pissed as I am that he missed, it was only 1 field goal. He has pretty much made everything this year, including 3 in a row last game where he had to re-kick due to penalties

I'm pretty sure he's missed two field goals and an extra point that was blocked.

Seriously guys...don't sit here and act like this is okay!! This was a chipshot in the 4th quarter..this is EXACTLY why Mare has a job. This guy shouldnt even be here. John Kasay should've kicked that field goal today and we all know it.

YEAH!! Kasay never missed a field goal in his life!!!!! Especially not today!!!!

I can think of two game winning/tying field goals that Kasay missed when he was here.

Kasay missed vs the Browns 2 years ago. But Mare's misses are starting to become alarming. He kicks the ball very low which allows teams to block the kick easier especially since our special teams cannot block to save their lives. I honestly do not see him as a Panther next year. It's completely inexcusable for a 15 year vet to miss a 31 yard FG to tie in perfect conditions. I'm sorry. I've made a 46 yarder in worse conditions (granted not in the NFL). I don't have any sympathy for him.

      It must be an early Christmas for JT O'Sullivan having Thielen back so he could put a coal in Thielen's stocking every chance he gets.  Honestly, the biggest surprise is not so much the anticipation. There were those moments here and there last year as well. It's that even that one positive quality he had seemingly vanished his first two games to where it looked like it was all but over, only for it to start coming back some until you get exclamation points all over this game film. And some of those throws were under a lot of duress, something I feel is something new. Finally, those deeper shots are starting to land. Not all of them, but enough that defenses may have to start respecting them. No guarantees whether this will end up as more of anomaly but I certainly hope it isn't. The Green Bay game was a sampler of what BY could be. Against KC, we got a meal. If we could start getting these meals regularly, we might actually have something to work with here.

      Heels let another team go up 20 on them but this time they complete the comeback. HD never seems to have his team ready but he makes great halftime adjustments. Powell played the majority of the second half and his defense was the difference along with his big three pointer to give the Heels the lead for good. Trimble and Davis were also spectacular. Carolina can’t let Auburn get out to a 20 point lead though, they won’t be able to come back from that.
