Terry Bradshaw ranked Dalton ahead of Cam...

Not sure what they are but they are better than Cam's.

He plays in a much more conservative offense so his numbers aren't going to be as eye popping as Cam's. They were much more focused on making the playoffs as opposed to having a QB win ROTY.

Wrong actually, Cam's stats hold up to Dalton's. If it weren't for Nannee he'd probably have a better comp percentage. Their passing TD:INT ratio is very similar, no reason to consider rushing because we know Cam has that one.

However, Cincy has a top 10 D, Dalton doesn't have to be as good as, or better than Cam to win games.

TB has no argument based on numbers- you really think TB has a bust in Canton without the infamous Steel Curtain D? Maybe, but it's a lot less likely.

Hey let's be Pantherball and check in on Andy Dalton's drives in the 2nd half yesterday since he's obviously such a more clutch performer than Cam Newton.

1) 3 and out

2) INT at the Seattle 39 yard line

3) INT at midfield

4) After starting at his own 38 (hello special teams), the running game picks up 18 yards, he completes a 4 yard pass and two defensive penalties lead to his kicker making a 48 yard FG

5) 3 kneel downs

4 of 11 passing for 34 yards, 2 INTs, in the 2nd half what a winner. Oh by the way, the Bengals got a punt return for a TD, and then an INT for a touchdown in the 4th quarter.

Shh. These people don't actually what cincy games. They just throw out multiple platitiudes about being a winner or whatever.

You can't compare stats because they are asked to do different things is my point.

You can play the "what if" game all you want, I'm sure Arizona did when they signed Derek Anderson, but all that we know is Dalton and the Bengals are 5-2, Cam and the Panthers are 2-6 but he throws for a lot of yards and stuff.

They are both impressive, along with Ponder, but comparing all of them is ridiculous considering each individual circumstance.

You do realize that our defense is 5th worst in points allowed right? QB's will make mistakes it's the defenses job to limit the damage that is done when that happens. Our problem is not the offense or Cam it is the D. Plain and simple.

The offenses job is also to score more than the defense gives up. Just saying

Yeah, put more of a burden on Cam's shoulders to carry this offense. Hey, might as well ask him to run for about 100 yards a game too.

Yes because Cam has to do it alone. He doesn't have help from Smith, Shockey, Olsen, Stewart, no one. He alone shoulders the whole offense.

The offense is just as responsible for a lost as the defense. The offense job is to score when they have the ball. The defense job is to stop the opposition from scoring. When one part fails to do their job, the other part is supposed to step up. That is how teams win games in the NFL.
